Star Barks Inn is all about providing a unique environment where your dog can just be a dog. As most of us know, dogs are pack animals and they truly enjoy being around other dogs and being social.
Whether they are here for a day of energy burning play, a week of boarding or just for a little TLC in our grooming spa they are going to be treated like the stars they are. And trust that your dog will come home overjoyed – and most likely tuckered out.
If you’re like me, I miss my Patsy girl whenever I am not with her, so we installed State of the Art cameras that are webcasted to our site so you can watch your furry kids from anywhere in the world with a simple click.
Benefits of Doggie Daycare
June 7th, 2011 is an important date in the evolution of Star Barks Inn…
That was the day that changed my life forever and put me on the path to ultimately creating the Inn. On that day I suffered a brain injury that would challenge everything I knew about life, love, strength, pain and what it means to be tenacious and to feel the love for a dog that I never knew possible…
As I navigated through my injury my wife decided to rescue Patsy from the humane society (As she says, Patsy was my replacement in case I didn’t make it)
Ultimately Patsy became the love of my life, and still is thankfully. The love that I feel for her drives me in every decision I make about Star Barks. The idea of boarding this precious part of my family in a chain link fence facility, alone with no room to run or be social was just not acceptable to me.
After moving from downtown Atlanta to Hoschton I quickly realized that I needed to create a place for Patsy where I knew she would be happy and fulfilled and cared for in the way that I care for her. Knowing that there are like mind people out there whose dogs are just as important to them as Patsy is to me inspired me to create Star Barks. I want you to know that when your dog comes through the doors of the Inn that they immediately become part of my family and part of the experience and inspiration Star Barks represents.
