Star Barks Inn is scheduled to open March 1st, 2020, in the Braselton/Buford/Duncan Park area. Star Barks Inn will have over 17,000 sq. ft of boarding, Spa, and indoor/outdoor play space. We will offer luxury boarding (cats & dogs), daycare, and spa services along with additional enriching activities and services for our guests.
PAWparazzi are the primary caretakers of our guests. They are responsible for everything from customer service to maintaining cleanliness of our facility and managing playgroups. PAWparazzi will spend the most time with our dog guests and must be very confident with animal interactions.
Initial and ongoing training in animal care will be provided. A good candidate for PAWparazzi role should be able to work at least 4 shifts a week.
Job duties may include but should not be limited to:
Physical Demands: Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Employees must also be comfortable and remain in control handling one or more dogs up to 150 lbs. Employees must also be comfortable handling multiple different breeds and temperaments. While performing the duties listed above, employees must be able to verbally communicate with other staff in a very loud environment . Must be able to stand for at least 8 consecutive hours of the day. Employees are occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Starting pay is $7.50 per hour. Increases will be considered after 6 months up to $8.50-11.00 per hour based on experience, dependability, certifications, etc..Apply Online!
