Pet Boarding

Be a “Star” Pet Parent and come with a prepared pup!

Check Out Time for Overnight Guests?
Check out time is 11:00 am unless an activity package or Star Spa service has been previously booked. If you are not able to pick up your BFFF by this time there will be a late pickup fee added to your final bill. There are no exceptions to the policy as a guest can't check in until your BFFF checks out.

What vaccinations do I need?
Star Barks Inn Requires all dogs to be current on Rabies, DHPP (DA2PP or DHLPP) or current titers, and Bordetella (intranasal vaccine required every six months). Puppies and newly adopted adult dogs must receive at least two series of shots before boarding, including a Rabies vaccination. Canine Influenza (CIV) bivalent vaccine covering the two most common strains, H3N2 and H3N8, is highly recommended.

Star Barks Inn requires all cats to be current on Rabies, Feline Distemper (FVRCP), FeLV, and must be tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

All records must show proof of administration by a licensed veterinary professional, no handwritten records will be accepted. Vaccines must be administered a minimum of five days before check-in and may not expire at any point during the pet's scheduled overnight stay.

What’s the dress code?
All dogs staying overnight at Star Barks Inn are required to wear a "Star-Safe" collar. A Star-Safe collar is one that has a snap closure instead of a buckle and made with a cotton or nylon material that allows our staff to walk your pet for potty breaks safely. If your pet does not come in with this collar, it will be removed and replaced with one of our sleek seafoam house collars. Notify staff of any concerns you may have with your pet wearing a collar overnight. If so, we will be happy to remove the collar.

How should I prepare my meals?
Star Barks Inn recommends keeping your dog on the same diet as home to avoid an upset stomach that a quick change in diet can cause. When you prepare your pet's meals, we ask that you place it in sealed plastic bags or your own plastic/metal storage container so that we can keep it safe and dry. We ask that you not bring in large 30-50lb bags. We can accommodate any special diets pet parents bring in, including refrigeration and microwaves. All meals are prepared in our restaurant style central commissary. If you are unable to provide your pet's food, Star Barks Inn uses Pet Chef dry dog food available for purchase at your convenience.

For feline friends, please come prepared with your pet's own food in a sealed container. Be sure to pack your cat some "treats" so we can entice him/her to explore and become comfortable in our Whispurr Room. Oh yeah, and don't worry about dirty dishes; we will provide food and water bowls for all our canine and feline friends!

What can I bring?
Star Barks Inn is happy to supply a raised Karanda bed and a Purple Pebble fleece mat for all guests in Seafoam and Sunshine suites and luxury bed linens and toddler-sized mattresses in our Star Suites. Pet parents may bring their pet's belongings to make the environment feel more like home. Please limit this to one bed per room and up to 3 toys.

For our feline friends, we will supply a cozy purple pebble mat and cat trees for activity time in the Whispurr Room! Star Barks Inn welcomes you to bring anything that will make your cat feel more at home!
